I spent the most wonderful afternoon reading in relaxing in our new pool yesterday afternoon. It was perfect weather, quite shocking for August actually. Even the neighbor, who I think caused serious injury to himself with a weed eater by his cussing and yelling did not break my peace.
I had to finish our book club book and was dreading the deadline of Thursday, because I hate showing up for book club not having read the whole thing. But I powered through and finished it – I’ll add more about the book after our gathering of readers on Thursday night.
I should also mention my cool new pool cost $8.50 and MZ had to blow it up for me… but it was still fabulous!
