I am a bit OCD when it comes to #’s – I have trouble with odd #’s. I don’t like the thermostat at home or in the car to be at 75 – 74 or 76 is just fine. Same with cruise control… 78 is a great speed for me. The same goes for work days – I prefer a 4 day work week, but that’s a story for a different time.
I have no clue what brought this on, or when it started – it’s just always been that way, and I think it will probably remain.
Now don’t worry, I’m not going to freak out if faced with and odd #. It’s more a personal preference and if I get a choice, I’ll pick an even #. It doesn’t really apply to items or decor, we have 3 seating options – I’m ok with that. But if I can see the # … even all the way.
Ironically, 37 is my favorite # – if you know me you know my exaggerative # is always 37-thousand.
Gracie – Have you ever read my posts about numbers? I have a total number issue. I like certain numbers better than others. The “problem” with my “system” is that it makes no sense. Most of the numbers I like have a seven at the end. But others don’t. It’s just weird. I set my alarm for 5:27AM. I like certain dates better than others. People can present me with a random number and I can tell them whether or not I like it… some numbers/dates/times just “feel” better. SO weird.
Great site. A lot of useful information here. I’m sending it to some friends!
